For every organization you are a part of and each leadership position you hold, you have the ability to decide whether you would like your name to be shown on the public roster for the organization. Some users may prefer to keep all of their memberships private. Others may elect to keep only specific memberships hidden that they are either not comfortable sharing or are required to keep hidden (ex. Recruitment Counselors within sororities).
Even if you choose to hide a membership, you will still be visible to the officers in that organization and have access to the features of that group.
To hide your memberships:
- Click on your name on the left corner of the top gold toolbar.
- Select “Privacy Settings” from the drop down menu.
- Scroll down and click on the “Organization Roster Settings” Bar
- Next to every organization membership and leadership position you hold in the system you will see a “Show/Hide” button. Click “Hide” if you do not want your name to appear on the public roster for an organization.
